German-English Environmental Translations

Background

Print Translations is run by Abigail Dahlberg, a British English native speaker and German-English translator specialising in environmental issues, corporate communications and more specifically recycling and waste management. All translations are delivered punctually, thoroughly proofread and correctly formatted. I pride myself on my reliability and attention to detail.

I hold an MA in Interpreting and Translation from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland and worked as an in-house translator and editor at a German publishing house in the Black Forest for almost four years. As well as providing translations from German into English, I also researched and wrote English-language articles for one of the leading trade journals for the recycling industry. During this period, I completed an editorial internship and received a German certificate in newspaper journalism. In support of this role, I also attended numerous conferences, workshops and trade fairs and built up a network of contacts to help with complex terminological questions.

Since launching a freelance business and moving to the Kansas City area in 2005, I have forged close business relationships with publishers, environmental companies, government entities and translation agencies in both North America and Europe.
