The solution:
I conducted many hours of research on this job to make sure that the terminology was completely accurate. This painstaking work was extremely important because my English translation served as the basis for translations into other EU languages. One conundrum was that some of the techniques detailed in the documents were not well-known outside of Germany. With my client’s permission, I contacted companies developing these technologies to find out more detailed information. The result? A translation that was accessible to readers, yet technically accurate.
