I understand how hard you work to have an impact.

Sustainability report translator

Whether you are an environmental services company, a consulting firm or a publishing house, you know that what you do really matters – and so does the way that you communicate with the English-speaking world.

Are you searching for the right person to translate your CSR report? Do you need help crafting a newsletter about the latest and greatest in sustainability? Does your publication need that final polish before it goes to the printers?

I can work with you to deliver just what you are looking for – on time and on budget.

A unique combination of writing skills and environmental expertise

I have 20 years of wide-ranging experience in the waste management and sustainability arena. After graduating with a degree in translation, I cut my teeth as a staff translator and editor working for one of Europe’s leading trade journals for the recycling industry. Along with honing my writing skills in German and English, this position gave me my first valuable insights into the nitty-gritty of waste and resources management.

It didn’t end there.

Over the past 20 years, I’ve toured sorting plants using the most advanced technology. I’ve stood on top of landfills. I’ve spent hours cleaning up local waterways. All of these experiences have helped me to write texts that speak to your target audience (and landed me on the front pages of the LA Times).

About Abigail Dahlberg

I’ve been helping clients on both sides of the pond with their international communications since 2005. Forging long-standing relationships is the foundation of my business so I take regular trips to Germany to visit clients, attend industry events and stock up on Ritter Sport.

I was born and bred in northern England and graduated with a Master’s in Translation and Interpreting from Heriot-Watt University in 2001. My accent is said to have a bit more of a twang these days, as I have since made my home in western Missouri.  As a native Brit, I’m never happier than when I have my hands wrapped around a mug of tea. On weekends, I can be found hiking local forests with my kids and our rescue dog, Lucky.

I am a proud member of these fine associations:
